IoT Sensors Team Manager

Description

Mission : We are looking for a strong engineering leader to lead a multiskilled team focusing on IoT Sensors design & technologies. You will be responsible for the team management both from a technical and people angle. Your accountabilities include competency & knowledge management. You will be also responsible for preparing, managing, tracking the budget for your team for both Opex and Capex investments. Responsibilities and skills: Technical management Manage design and development activities of the team. Is accountable for delivering as per plan. In strong link with our Sensors Lead Architect, ensure technology market watch & prepare overall strategy for your team. Strategies includes choosing the right technologies to invest for the future, target sensors technologies to invest on, etc… Strong in Collaborating with various teams, business stakeholders, cross functions to establish priorities, roadmaps, planning. Managing and tracking the budget for your teams as Opex and Capex investments Communicate on activities of your team inside Energy Management Business and externally (partners, suppliers, ecosystem, etc…) Knowledge of Agile and PMP process is preferred Familiarity with Engineering standards and practices to drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency People management: Ensure your team is well engaged and motivated. Manage hiring plans, upskilling of your team members. People management activities include (but are not limited to) evaluations, goal setting, performance measurement, succession planning etc Ensure the team competency is at the right level on sensors technologies and associated competencies needed to support businesses Qualifications & skills Education : Master degree in Electronics Engineering Experience : Proven experience of 5+ years in Electronics design / project management A first experience of >3 Years of technical management as well as experience in coaching/ mentoring/ building & managing diverse technology teams is preferred. Experience in sensor design is a plus Experience in setting-up collaboration, research program Skills : Knowledge of Embedded technologies, Embedded AI Interest in understanding application constraint, application requirement to drive technology choice Strong communication and presentation skills Innovative and strategic thinking mindset Change management
