What will your contribution be and how will you develop in this position?

At ALCS, you will report to the Head of Maintenance and Operational Services.
You will work in collaboration with the Gas & Cryogenics and New Energies Business Units:
The Gases & Cryogenics Business Unit develops the Air Liquide Group's technological heritage as well as associated equipment and services in the fields of gases and cryogenics for the refrigeration, liquefaction, purification, storage and generation of gases (methane, helium, hydrogen). Standard and customized equipment and services are supplied to scientific customers (research centers, major scientific equipment manufacturers) and industrial customers (energy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, electronics).
The New Energies Business Unit designs and markets equipment for energy transition markets: hydrogen distribution stations for fuel cell electric vehicles (worldwide) and biogas purification solutions to supply the downstream alternative fuels and gases market (Europe and China).
As part of your integration, a training program and mentoring/sponsorship schemes will be set up to enable you to discover products and technologies (in particular at the manufacturer's), work in workshops to try out machines (with the support of technical experts), and handle gases in our test center.
In this context of strong business growth and customer demand, your mission is as follows:
you prepare the technical intervention,
you familiarize yourself with the documents (commercial and technical contracts), drawings (P&ID, electrical diagrams, etc.), reports of previous interventions, safety conditions and technical documentation for the installation,
define the tools and equipment required,
you carry out technical interventions on site,
you carry out diagnostic, preventive and corrective maintenance operations in accordance with procedures and contracts,
identify customer needs and detect malfunctions,
you propose corrective/preventive actions and prepare the report for the customer,
you supervise subcontractors and assess their technical aptitude in compliance with procedures and safety standards,
train less experienced maintenance technicians and end customers.
Are you the right person for the job?
You have a 2-year higher education diploma, specializing in systems and/or mechanical maintenance, and at least 5 years' experience in a similar role, with regular travel to customer sites.
Ideally, you have knowledge of industrial gases and cryogenics.
You are curious and keen to develop multi-technical skills and learn new technologies.
You are comfortable using office tools (Excel and Word in particular) and CMMS (Altair or other).
You have already used English in a professional environment, or you use it regularly: you have at least a level of fluency that enables you to communicate and understand information both orally and in writing.
Recognized for your ability to develop trusting relationships with customers, you are reactive and autonomous when it comes to analyzing and solving problems.
You are also familiar with quality and safety.
