An event imagined by
Electrical and Automation Engineer F/H

Description
Description of the entity and activity
Air Liquide Advanced Technologies provides effective solutions for our customers in aeronautics, space, scientific research and new energies (hydrogen and biogas), in the field of high and advanced technologies. It also provides innovative technologies to meet the needs of the Group's markets.
What will your contribution be and how will you develop in this position?
The New Energies BU designs and markets equipment for energy transition markets: hydrogen distribution stations for fuel cell electric vehicles (worldwide) and biogas purification solutions to supply the downstream alternative fuels and gases market (Europe).
As part of our ongoing transformation plan, we must continue to improve the safety, reliability, competitiveness and performance of our equipment, and accelerate the standardization of our products, which requires better control of design and support for the teams concerned (e.g. products, projects).
In this context, an "EIA Engineer" role is dedicated.
This position has been created within the Detail Engineering division of New Energies (NE), but will work closely with the new Services division.
Indeed, NE is launching a new activity that will enable us to stay as close as possible to the needs of our H2 or Biogas station customers, even after the installations have been commissioned.
In this context, your role will be to provide improvements/upgrades to existing systems, carry out interventions (mainly remotely) to resolve any malfunctions, and be a driving force behind the development of a coherent service offering.
You may also be required to travel on site, and to work on fundamental issues (notably the creation of standards and continuous improvement).
Are you the right person for the job?
With a degree in Electricity/Automation, you have some initial experience in an industrial environment (ideally gas-related).
Technically at ease with the TIA Portal environment, you have a good "systems" vision, enabling you to quickly identify the causes of malfunctions and prepare consistent action plans.
Functionally integrated into the Services activity, you have a good sense of service and customer relations, and are able to put forward proposals for services associated with your expertise.
Fluent English required
Position based in Sassenage (38).
