IOMT AuRA (Unimotion)
IOMT (Open Innovation for Mobility for All) is an association under the 1901 law that advocates for mobility accessible to all, and particularly to those who are disadvantaged by a disability or age-related loss of autonomy.
To restore mobility in everyday life to wheelchairs users, IOMT is currently carrying out an entrepreneurial project that combines technical and social innovation. This project, called Unimotion, consists in the development and the distribution of motorization kits for manual wheelchairs, with accessibility objectives (ergonomic, financial and time) aimed at allowing as many concerned people as possible (more than 1.5 million in France) to regain mobility in their daily lives.
