Nellow
Nellow is a company aiming at the industrialization and commercialization of a new generation of microelectronic chips for logic and AI, using a new ultra-low energy consumption technology.
This energy consumption is an important environmental issue. It is also an industrial issue, as overheating is today the limiting factor of the chips performance. To give a range of magnitude, Chips performance was multiplied by 100 during the 90s, but only 3 by during the last decade.
Thanks to over 10 years of research in laboratories in CEA Grenoble and in Paris Saclay, we have developed a breakthrough technology, protected by over 6 patents, which will reduce the energy consumption of electronic chips by a factor of 1000.
Nellow is a spin-off from CEA Grenoble, with the support of CNRS and Grenoble Alpes University. Our founding team has significant experience in managing large international R&D projects, with more than €10M spending on this technology during the last 10 years. We also benefit from an ecosystem favorable to industrial transfer, with already 20 people working in our laboratories on the development of this technology. Nellow is a rare opportunity to create a major player in microelectronics in Europe, by accessing a €1000B market of chips for artificial intelligence and computing.
