Vergorà

Currently housed in the Inria Startup Studio program, and assisted by an environmental engineer and a data science engineer, I'm heading up the Vergorà project, a web platform designed to facilitate contact between those involved in greening urban buildings, thereby speeding up the process. To put it simply, this tool is used by three typical profiles: - owners of urban buildings (property managers, lessors, companies, local authorities, etc.) can instantly find out whether their roof or facade is eligible for green roofing. The platform automatically detects the best greening solution for the building. Finally, a report estimating the impact on the environment and the building is also automatically generated (reduction of the heat island effect, rainwater retention, thermal insulation, biodiversity...). - greening experts (landscapers, facade architects, developers, etc.) have access to a list of pre-qualified projects ready for implementation. - funders (committed companies and groups, foundations, associations, insurance companies, green funds, etc.) have access to a list of bankable projects, with measured impact, in their own territory, enabling them to complete their extra-financial report and communicate on their responsible commitment. This virtuous circle accelerates the greening of cities, while at the same time providing each player with measured benefits, thereby contributing to today's key objectives of urban cooling, rainwater management and increased biodiversity.
