Florence Lambert
GENVIA
Présidente
Description
Florence Lambert joined the CEA in 2000, holding several management positions in storage systems for renewable energies. In 2006, she helped found the Institut National de l'Énergie Solaire (CEA-INES), where she launched Europe's first stationary storage research platform. From 2009, she developed CEA-LITEN's transport division, focusing on lithium-ion batteries and fuel cells, and contributing to advances in low-carbon vehicles in France. In 2013, she became Director of the CEA-LITEN Institute, where she leads a team of 1,000 researchers working on key technologies for the energy transition, such as solar photovoltaics, low-carbon transport and hydrogen. The institute is recognised for its technological leadership, with more than 210 patents filed each year, and works with major industrial partners (such as SAFT and ACC) on innovative projects such as the Energy Observer demonstrator. At institutional level, Florence Lambert has been responsible for national industrial plans for energy storage since 2013, and contributed to the 2018 French H2 roadmap. Appointed head of Genvia in 2021, she is now leading the company to industrialise the SOEC high-temperature electrolysis technology. In 2022, she also became a member of the Académie des Technologies and an ambassador for the France 2030 investment plan.
