Description
Born in Beijing and a senior civil servant, Ariane Cronel has spent over 15 years helping to transform and improve public services. Now a freelance consultant and lecturer, her work explores the reasons for our procrastination in the face of climate change, and proposes future perspectives to guide the ecological transition. Through her podcast "Enquête d'Avenir", she analyses the links between imagination, progress, the environment and the socio-economic system. Using design fiction, she builds forward-looking scenarios that she tells in stories to help us better understand where today's trends are taking our territories, our behaviour and our living environments (La Montagne en 2050 - Editions Alopex - 2024). Fascinated by the power of imagination linked to scientific progress, and by the links between technology and politics, she also assists start-ups with their strategic positioning and their relations with public authorities.
