Julie Huguet
MISSION FRENCH TECH
Directrice
Description
In September 2024, Julie Huguet was appointed Director of Mission French Tech, an administration of the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industry, responsible for supporting the growth of the innovative startup ecosystem in France and internationally. Julie began her career with a Geneva-based watchmaking company, where she held strategic positions for seven years. In 2016, she founded Coworkees, an intermediation platform between companies and consultants that quickly brought together more than 70,000 freelancers and generated several thousand referrals. After raising more than €1 million, she sold her company to Freelance.com in 2021, where she created the "People and Culture" division to strengthen the commitment and cohesion of the 300 employees, 300,000 freelancers and 1,000 partners around shared values.
Alongside her entrepreneurial activities, Julie has been actively involved in the French Tech ecosystem, chairing the Capitale French Tech Alpes for more than three years, helping to boost and promote the region's technology scene. As a result of her career and her commitment to the economic development of her region, Marina Ferrari, then Secretary of State for the Digital Economy, appointed her Chevalier de l'Ordre national du Mérite in June 2023.
