Description
A graduate of ESCP and with an MBA from Philadelphia, Déborah joined Ubisoft in 1997 where she successively held positions in marketing, business and video game production. Passionate about building bridges between different worlds, she is now exploring new opportunities and perspectives for Ubisoft, making its brands accessible to new audiences and deploying its expertise beyond video games. Its teams are developing new forms of entertainment and new technologies through innovative partnerships in sectors as varied as live entertainment, music, virtual and augmented reality attractions, healthcare, mobility and culture: education, museums, documentaries and immersive experiences.
A founding member of the French Touch, winner of 100 Femmes de Culture in 2019 and a member of the jury in 2022, Déborah is also involved in promoting the cultural industries and innovation beyond video games. Déborah is Vice-President of the Immersive Creation Fund of the CNC (Centre National du Cinéma) and a member of the PIA 4 Digitisation of Heritage and Architecture commission of the Secrétariat Général pour l'Investissement (under the authority of the Prime Minister).
She is a regular lecturer at a number of schools: she is in charge of the Video Games course at Sciences Po Paris (Masters in Public Affairs, specialising in culture), and lectures at Edhec, Audencia, Les Mines, CNAM, EPFL, etc. Finally, Déborah sits on the board of several institutions: Ecole de Paris du Management (at Ecole des Mines Paris), Master Digital Humanities at EPFL (Ecole Fédérale Polytechnique de Lausanne), World Documentary Congress (WCSFP).
