Amélie Cessot
LOW-TECH LAB GRENOBLE
Volontariat en Service Civique
Description
Amélie Cessot, recently graduated engineer of the ENSE3, I am engaged as a volunteer in civic service within the association the Low-Tech Lab Grenoble.
Aware of the planetary limits, after my studies and internships, I questioned the place of the engineer as it was always presented to me. I am convinced that it is necessary to change the model: stop creating unnecessary needs and think about solutions that respect Humans and the Planet.
It is with this in mind that I turned to the Low-Tech Lab Grenoble. This association is dedicated to the experimentation, documentation and dissemination of useful, accessible and sustainable solutions. It acts to respond to the essential issues of housing, food and energy while valuing local resources: materials, producers and know-how.
Finally, the Low-Tech Lab is a collective and friendly approach that aims to contribute to the emergence of more sober, more respectful and more resilient lifestyles, production or consumption.
