Description
Philippe HERBERT began his career in a start-up company, DASSAULT SYSTEMES, today the world leader in 3D design software and product lifecycle management solutions. From 1982 to 1996, he held a number of management positions there, including building and managing the company's partnerships and acquisitions policy as Director of Business Development. From 1996 to 2003, he helped relaunch the French and European operations of the American investment fund Partech International. From 2003 to 2020, as General Partner of Banexi Ventures Partners (now Kreaxi), he invested in 25 companies. He is a founding member of Pass French Tech, now Next40 + FrenchTech120, a member of the Board of Directors of several start-ups and Wilco, and an active member of SATT Lutech and the Cap Digital competitiveness cluster. Within the French association of investors for growth (France Invest), he chaired the Industry Financing Committee for 4 years. In October 2021, he was appointed Chairman of the Mission 5G Industrielle, and in April 2022 he published the Report on Industrial 5G. In 2023, the Ministers for Industry, Roland Lescure, and Digital, Jean-Noël Barrot, renew the Mission 5G until the end of 2024. He is a France2030 Ambassador. Philippe holds an aeronautical engineering degree from ESTACA and a specialised Master's degree from HEC. He is a Knight of the Legion of Honour.
