Description
Nicolas Daval is Chief Engineering Officer and a member of Quobly’s Executive Committee. He joined the company in February 2023 to drive the scale-up of engineering activities and build high-performance teams. He also oversees relationships with industrial partners to ensure operational excellence.
With over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, Nicolas previously held several leadership roles at Soitec, where he was a key contributor to the industrialization of FD-SOI technology. He is the author of 38 patents.
Nicolas holds an engineering degree in electronics from ECAM Lyon (1999) and a PhD focused on SiC-on-insulator wafers for high-power applications (2002). He advocates collaboration, a customer-centric mindset, and scientific rigor as the cornerstones of sustainable innovation.
