Description

Guillaume CHARVET is Head of the neurotechnology biomedical research unit at CEA Leti CLINATEC® in Grenoble (France), where he leads the design and integration of innovative medical devices addressing unmet clinical needs. His research focuses on neuroengineering for neuroprostheses and neuromodulation systems, especially Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI), with major clinical breakthroughs published in The Lancet Neurology and Nature. He also holds multiple patents in neurotechnology. His team has earned several prestigious awards, including multiple BCI Awards, the Leenaards Science Prize-2021, a CES Innovation Award-2024, and the “World Innovation Team Best Practice-2025” as well as significant institutional fundings (ANR-SNF, Horizon Europe EIC, MSCA).
